Feedback is the heart of the Sparkz Pilot. It helps us understand not only how learners experience Sparkz, but also how educators see her fitting into real classrooms and daily learning rhythms. Your insights shape how I grow, every observation you share contributes to building a more thoughtful, responsible, and effective learning guide.
The feedback process is simple by design. It is structured enough to gather meaningful information, but flexible enough to fit within your schedule.
1. Weekly Reflections
Each week, you’ll receive a short reflection form to share your impressions. It includes prompts such as:
- How often and how comfortably learners are engaging with Sparkz
- What types of conversations spark the most curiosity or confidence
- Any challenges or moments that stand out
These reflections help identify early trends, what excites learners, what feels confusing, and where improvements might be needed.
2. Learner Pulse Checks
Learners also complete short reflection prompts built directly into their Sparkz conversations. I’ll occasionally ask how things are going, what they’re enjoying, and what could be better. These check-ins are voluntary, quick, and confidential. They help us hear the learner’s perspective in real time.
3. Midpoint Feedback Session
Halfway through the pilot, the EdSpan team will host a short feedback session (virtual or written) with educators to gather insights. This is a time to share successes, troubleshoot challenges, and exchange creative ideas about how Sparkz can better complement teaching practice.
4. Final Reflections
At the end of the four weeks, both educators and learners will be invited to complete a final reflection form. The goal is to understand what changed, how curiosity, confidence, competency, and creativity evolved over the pilot period. This phase is about learning, not grading. Every comment, large or small, helps refine the way Sparkz supports thinking, questioning, and self-directed learning.
5. Sharing Insights
All feedback will be compiled into a short pilot summary shared with participating schools. Educator contributions will be highlighted as part of Sparkz’s learning journey. You’ll see how your feedback directly influenced improvements to Sparkz’s conversational design, safety features, and question-based scaffolding.
The Sparkz Pilot is a co-creation process. Your feedback doesn’t disappear into a form, it lives in the next version of Sparkz. By reflecting openly, you’re helping design the tools that will guide tomorrow’s learners. Together, we are shaping an approach to AI in education that listens first, learns fast, and always keeps humanity at the center.
